Anhydrous alcohol is an important chemical raw material widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, dye, ink, adhesive, paint, cosmetics and other industries. With the energy crisis and the growing tension of oil, anhydrous alcohol is a clean fuel and demand is growing rapidly.
Only about 95% purity of the alcohol can be obtained by the conventional distillation method.Other methods are needed to obtain a higher purity anhydrous alcohol, and molecular sieve drying is currently widely used.
Through the PSA process, the extremely strong adsorption capacity of the molecular sieve can increase the alcohol concentration to over 99%.
Compared with the traditional azeotropic distillation, the molecular sieve PSA method has higher dewatering efficiency, more advanced technology, higher product quality and more energy saving.
